The PS OIL SEAL is a sealing ring for rotating shafts characterized by good long-lasting behaviour. The seal is guaranteed by the preload of the PTFE sealing lip. The very low friction coefficient prevents the sticking effect, lowers the separation force and is therefore also a good choice for dry applications or with insufficient lubrication.
it can be used at high speeds as heat development is limited. It is suitable for operation under pressure up to 5, 10 or 25 bar depending on the version. The metal casing guarantees a solid fit. It has a limited sealing capacity against very low viscosity fluids or gases and in two-part seats. To obtain a high static seal on the external surface, a better finish of the seat surface or the use of a layer of sealing paint on the external diameter is necessary.

APPLICATIONS
Sealing on rotating machine elements, such as shafts, bushings and axles in the presence of high peripheral speeds, high pressures and/or high temperatures. Resistant to aggressive chemicals thanks to the excellent chemical resistance of PTFE. For dry or insufficient lubrication applications thanks to the excellent friction coefficient of PTFE.
Note
Other construction forms can also be produced, e.g. with dust lip, housing made of other materials, as well as some special versions. Thanks to the fact that the production does not take place in a mould, it is possible to produce minimum quantities with reduced delivery times.
