VRM01 are axial sealing rings that consist of two parts, a metal ring with protective coating and a vulcanized elastomer sealing element.
The metal ring protects the elastomer from damage, serves as a support and support for the elastomer ring and simultaneously acts as a centrifuge. The elastomer ring is not glued but tensioned over the metal ring and is further held by it axially.
VRM axial shaft seals are mainly used in combination with rotary shaft seals. They are applied as modular sealing elements mounted in series to prevent the infiltration of dirt, dust and water from the outside.
